Mack Mag
My first experience with InDesign was creating Mack Mag. Based off of an iconic Disney Channel show, I discovered a love for editorial design. Exploring a different way to be creative, this piece also allowed me to combine my art with my other passion, media.
The font was an very important aspect of this piece. I needed it to seem like a craft project straight from the show itself. The marker style really brought the piece together.
I incorporated a lot of the show into this piece. Andi Mack is a creative young woman who is constantly crafting. She even has a craft shed she named "Andi Shack." I knew that that was the way I needed to take the piece. I took the show font and created the logo by extending the 'a' for Andi to lean on. For the image, I took one of the show images and put it into Photoshop and created an Image Trace of the photo.
